Presentation for the Ireland International Conference on Education 2020 by Treasa Fox, Dr. Deirdre Byrne, Dr. Jessica Surdey

A focus of the SynthSCS project is to assist the Higher Education Authority in supporting Ireland’s National Strategy to Reduce Suicide across all Higher Education Institutions. In order to meet these goals, a national framework guide for student mental health and suicide prevention was developed. This framework was the product of a collaborative cross disciplinary team including health professionals, government representatives, educators, students, policy makers, community organizations, researchers and clinicians.
